I have next problem

I am using cnc machine to scan some parts, because model cannot be done in some other way. (I use points to redesign geometry, make some thing better etc) I must get approximate geometry. In some areas I must get exactly the same geometry because that part is in assembly with some other. Problem is next

I can scan data but what can I do when I must roll my model, to scan surface below? - How can I use those points? How can I merge that geometry (points) and what method get very precise results

Speling, can you send me a file to see what you mean? I may or may not be able to do something with it. I am curious about you parts since they are scanned on CNC and you have been making parts from points.

Thanks
