I am trying to find a way to scale down sheet metal parts and still have the ability to unfold / flatten the part for manufacturing purposes. I can successfully scale down the model when I do an insert part copy, but unfolding the part copy is not possible 75% of the time. Is there a step that I am missing to do this properly? I have an entire assembly that I need to scale to .333 normal size, it would be nice to be able to scale the entire sheet metal assembly. Has anyone else ever run into this issue? Thanks in advance.

Hi

This could due to the bend radius becomes too small after the scale down.

Regards

You may want to try going into tools --> options --> part properties and change some of the numbers there such as bend radius, bend relief etc..
