Hi everyone,

I am cading a wing that might need to be changed. Also I need to do multiple ribs so importing the profile everytime is going to be a lot of work.
What I am doing now is importing a spline and then project it on a sketch and isolate so I can turn it. But I can't find a way to have a parametable operation which I could use to do multiple sketches faster or change the chord later. I can't even understand how the scale function is working in the sketcher... I drag the second point and nothing logic is really happening... I Was thinking about selecting a point with a distance that I control with a parameter, but it seems there is no way of predicting the lenght or ratio used with this function.

Thank you for your help.

Thank for the vidéo, but that's not really what I need. I would like to have a parameter that controls the chord line lenght of the rib so I can change easily the dimensions of the wing. This video shows how to have a variable projection but I do not control the chord.

It worked! Here are the steps for future references.

I imported the points with the excel file "GSD_PointSplineLoftFromExcel.xls" in C:\Program Files\Dassault Systemes\B23\win_b64\code\command.
Isolated the points.
In the Wireframe and surface design, I scalled a 1 cm profile.
The ratio I used is a parameter that has the wanted lenght for value.
Trace the spline with the points.
Done!

Thank you for your help ferdo
