Is it possible to scale a full assembly in solidworks?

You can scale models (parts) not full assemblies, but to do a model it to specific factor.

1) RMB in the toolbar area and click customize.
2) Go to Commands\Catagories\Features
3) There is an Icon, first row last one on the right. This is the one for scaling.
4) Drag and drop the icon on a toolbar of your choosing.
5) Open a part and click the Icon..I'm sure the rest of it is as plain as day for you.

You may already have the icon on your desktop. I do not so that is why I have gone through this setup.

Hope that helps, Scott Baugh, CSWP :-)

thanks, I found the scale for the parts. I was hoping for a quick way to scale a fairly large assembly but it looks like I'll have to go in to each part.

thanks again.

Out of curiosity, why do need the assembly scaled?
