Can anyone advise me on the best oscillator circuit to use with a 2-port SAW resonator ?.

The vendors are your best source for this. They have practical app notes on the matching and possible FET choices. Otherwise, the HAM books are a great place to look.

If you want to pay the paten royalty you can use an RF monolithic design. However, you might be able to use thier ideas if you use one of thier amps for your RF gain block.
Do you need to pull this one?
