I have a macro for saving drawings as DXF. Saving as DXF always puts a * next to the title, which means SolidWorks wants me to save the drawing file (even though nothing changed). And every time I closed the file, it would ask me to save. So I added swDoc.Save to the macro, the * went away, and I could just close the file.

I upgraded to 2014, and it stopped working - the * doesn't go away. And every time I close a drawing, I have the extra mouse click of saving.

I tried SaveAs to a different name. It works, the file name changes, but the dang * is still there, even though it was just saved.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

V

Did you check that the API didn't change in your macro?
