Hi
I am working with a big assembly, many parts...some steel, some aluminum and some plastics. I have make a color for each in 1 part file and name it say color_steel. But when I see it in other part file, its not there (color_steel)...
can some body suggest what I am doing wrong or any relevant tutorial for WF5?

Hi,
open your appearance editor and save the color map from the file tab.

add "pro_colormap_path" to your config.pro and enter path and file name to the .dmt file you just saved.

Then you can access all colors you defined whenever you start pro/e.

(This applies to WF4, dont know if anything has changed in later releases)
