Working with SWX 2004 SP03 & SWX 2003 SP05.

I recently received a new computer at work and both 2003 and 2004 were loaded. On my old computer, I had the 'Save as PDF' option available in both versions. Now I do not have it in either and it isn't even one of the options in the Add-in dialog box.
Is it possible that the systems guy didn't load the 2004 properly?
Was there an option that should have been checked in the loading process?

I'd appreciate any insight I can get,
Lori

To my knowledge you have to have a full functional copy of Acrobat to make PDF files.

Do you show a Bluebeam Printer as one of your Printers? That's how SW saves a PDF. if that was removed then. You will need to do a repair on your install... maybe even a Reinstall. If you do then a repair might fix the problem. If not then you will need to uninstall and reisntall everything. I would clean out the registry as well. -faq559-488

Heckler,

You don't need Acrobat to save out PDF from SW. It was included in SW04 version of SW.

Thanks Scott - I haven't had the pleasure of using 2004 yet!

Thanks for the replies.

I looked in my Windows printer dialog box and I do see 'Auto Bluebeam PDF Printer on PROD100'.
My new computer has Windows XP Pro, do you think maybe that has something to do with it? My last computer was Windows 2000 and I was able to use the PDF fine.
It's just weird that the 'Saveas PDF' isn't even listed in the Tools/Add-ins box.

I have both XP and Win 2000 on 4 differnet machines (2 and 2). They all run the Save as PDF fine.

Uninstall and clean the registry out - clean not only SW but also Bluebeam from the registry. Remove the printer if it doesn't remove itself automatically when uninstalled.
