I've been trying to create a 2D drawing based off of a previous drawing. The print references a main assembly which in turn references a sub-assembly. One of the components in the sub-assembly gets changed and there are two instances of a different component that get changed in the main assembly.
I open the drawing, do a Save Management, rename all of the necessary files and save to a new directory. I open the sub-assembly file and replace the old component with the new one and save and close. I open the main assembly and replace the old sub-assembly as well as the two instances and save & close. I open the drawing and rebuild, save and close without any issues. When I reopen the drawing I get a message stating that “The files in the following list could not be found or contain the wrong information for the active document” – It’s pointing to the component which was replaced in the sub-assembly.
Can anyone help me determine where my error is? I’d appreciate any help.
