Hi all,
I want to 'save as' an NX assembly drawing say 'DWG10' to an existing part no 'DWG5'. Teamcenter won’t let me do this the normal way because it is an existing part. I need this specific number because it is referenced elsewhere. I want to keep all mating conditions and drawing associativity.
DWG5 does not have any datasets at the moment, I was thinking if this could be deleted in Teamcenter would I be able to do a normal save as from DWG10? Would I need admin access to delete this item or do I just need to make sure its not referenced elsewhere?
Or is there simpler method I have missed? I have tried playing around with exporting/importing part files into the 'named references' this works well for single components but doesnt seem to work for assemblies such as this.
Cheers,
Rich
