SAP90 question

Does anayone know when SAP uses non conformiung elements for stress analysis. I used ASOLID option and the results I obtain surely don't use non conforming elements, so there should be another way to specify that. I know this is possible with the SOLID elements options, but I prefer a 2D solution.
