Can I perform Response spectrum analysis with SAP2000 when the spectrum is a displacement vs frequency?

Jiao,

try converting your spectra into period vs. accelleration by 1) changing frequency to period, 1/f 2) multiply displacement by (2*pi*f)2

(2*pi*f)2 = omega squared
