i'm experiencing a verification/check issue with most codes in SAP2000 v14 or v15.
object:
i define a temperature-dependent material with different properties at different temperatures.
if i use different temperatures in the structure frames (assign->frame->material temperatures), the design/verification module of SAP use same values of Fy, Fu, etc, only those defined in the first temperature database row, for all the frames, careless of changes of frames temperatures.
this can be dangerous for first-experienced users: in fact normally the first row represents low temperatures and higher yield stresses.
finally: calculated stresses/strain values are correct, but not code verifications.
someone can comment? someone have same problems?
