OUr firm is working on a sewer pump station project. The pump arrangement that most satisfies the municipality is tandem pumps. One pump in the wetwell with the second located downstream in the valve vault. we have a high head, low flow situation.
We haven't designed pumps in this arrangement, and I'm wondering if anyone has and can shed some light on how well (or not) this arrangement works.
