I am looking for the standard or technical document that descibes the machining details for these fittings. For example, I need to design a custom ferrule to mate to a standard sanitary ferrule and need to obtain the o-ring groove details etc. Any help appreciated.

Thank-you very much, there was a lot of good info there.

The gaskets pcitured there look different than the ones I am using - those have an added lip on the outside. I am not sure if this is the British Standard difference from the 3A standard I am looking at or not. I have since found but the standards there do not seem to list the information I seek.

I invite further information if anyone has more, specifically if it is associated with the 3-A standard. Thanks again hankroach for your links!

I believe that you need 3-A standard 63-03.
