Safety Relief Valve Manifold Sizing

Could anybody shed some light on how to properly size a pressure safety relief valve manifold, where a few such valves will discharge into the manifold?

The only way I can think of doing it is to size the manifold for the condition when all safety valves are blowing and a back pressure on the valves that does not affect valve operation.
