I think you should you follow ISO 9000.

maybe you'll have better luck in one of the Industrial Engineering forums?

or do you mean automotive safety?
 
WELL I MEAN THAT HOW DO YOU TRACE THE SAFETY PARTS?FOR EXAMPLE; King pin is the most important part of front axle,if there is any problem in that part lorry or car makes accident unavoidable.So from the entering of this safety part in the factory and till the vehicle is sold to the customers.
Generally I want to mention these type of problems.
I will be glad if I add your experiences
