I have a SAFE model. When I graphically look at the magnitude of moments in a column strip at the face of a column the values look in the right ballpark. The reinforcing steel is very high. When I look in the Tables, I find that SAFE is sizing rebar for a significantly higher moment that what the graphical display shows, and that moment looks very high. Maybe it is the column centerline moment? I have struck out figuring out what SAFE is doing, does anyone know?

I would suggest you try applying a "rigid zone" above your column. This forces the program to design for the moment at the face of support rather than the center of support.

The model appears to generate those itself, but I will try adding them manually as well.
