run time

hi there,

I'm a complete beginner to abaqus. Before submitting a job, is there a place where i can get an estimation of how long it will run for before being complete i.e., hours, mins, secs???

Use -check as an option and look in the .dat file

Hi again,

I found the check box as mentioned. The data analysis was 'completed' but, could you give me a tip on where to find the .dat file? Is that within the 'edit keyword' option?

The .dat file is a file that is created when you run the job. Look in the directory that you ran the job.
