I have the same problem like in thread561-317114.

Are there any solutions?

"I am running NX8 on a Windows7 64-bit machine with Office 2010 installed.
In NX8 I click TOOLS>SPREADSHEET and Excel 2010 opens.
I click ADD-INS>EXTRACT ATTR and then I get an error:
Run-Time error '-2147319779 (8002801d)':
Automation error
Library not registered.
If I click EXTRACT ATTR again I get:
Run-Time error'91':
Object variable or Width block variable not set."

You may try the following:

Step 1. Go to Run Prompt and Type “regedit” and click ok
Step 2. Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Step 3. Expand Classes
Step 4. Expand TypLib
Step 5. Expand 00020813-0000-0000-C000-000000000046
Step 6. Select 1.8
Step 7. Right Click on 1.8 and Delete this.

Do you have the ug.xla file in the (path to installation folder)\UGII\... folder?

Yes, ug.xla is in this folder.
I checked my UG Version, Its UGS NX 7.5.0.32 (64bit)
Is there any possibility to check logfiles at UG ?

Are there any knows Programms/Tools, which can also cause this error?

Try patching it to NX 7.5.5.4... and see if problem still occurs.
Or if you can provide the part?

i will try, where can i find NX patches? Sorry, for the "stupid" questions, but i am new in this Software area.

You will need a web key to login of course. Look beneath the Help tab in NX - About NX then system info, there is a line which state WebKey Access Code, with this code you can create a login account for the gtac site...

thanks, i will try this.
Now we have 2 workstations, which are working without problems. (Win 7 Pro, 64 bit) NX 7.5.1.5
Other WS with problems use NX 7.5.4.4 (also W7 Pro 64bit)
Is there a possibility to de-install the patch 7.5.4.4 for testing?

You need register excelitf.dll at <Install_folder>\UGII
