Power on at ~ 1 minute into the video.

I think I hear at least three different types of noise.
Clanking rattle ( gear backlash without sufficient load ?)
high pitched whine ( bearings running dry? )
low pitched whine ( gear mesh? damaged gear faces? running dry? )

Was there any lubrication being applied to the bearings and gears?

The video shows the gears being run unloaded and unlubricated. I do not find the noises to be unusual. They should be a lot quieter when run in oil.

Does not sound unusual for a spur gear mesh and rolling element bearings being run without lubrication.
