Rubber pinch valves - need Larox equal

Guys do any of you know of a domestic equivalent to the Larox rubber pinch valve?

Larox's core business is filter presses. They developed their valve to replace Neles metal seated ball valves. So one option you have is to consider Neles.

The other gentlemen mentioned RedValve. You'll like the price of that but I don't think it should be considered an "equal".

You mentioned a "domestic" source for Larox. You are aware that they have assembly in Maryland?

Thanks for the replies guys. No I did not know they were assembled in the US. I was looking for a domestic competitor to Larox - I haven't found one except Red Valve. A metal-seated valve won't work in my application - I am throttling a shear-sensitive fluid (crude oil and water) and the Larox has good history in this service. Thanks! Pete

Have you thought of a ceramic coated ball valve such as manufactured by Valvetech? I have used these on 75% solids fly ash. They have been in service now for 14 years.

Nope. This fluid is shear-sensitive, not abrasive. We chose the pinch valve due to its particular cross-section that is presented to the flowstream which favors low shearing of the fluid across the valve.

and for smaller sizes

For smaller sizes another type valve to consider might be the diaphragm valve as somewhat similar to a pinch valve.
