If there is anyone who could help me with literature or books or tips to do inspection on rubberlining, and painting of galvanised steelwork, whats steps should be followed and also tips on fibre glass piping - what tests are there available? I also need this information for welding of polypropyleen products. and (what tests are there to insure that proper welding has been done)

As far as lining and painting inspection goes, don't expect to get tips from here and then go out and do it. Bring in a qualified inspector: NACE, CSWIP/BGAS, or Frosio

The tests for GRP piping are contained in ISO 14692 (4 parts)

EN 13607 will cover the qualification of plastics welders and EN 13100 will cover NDT
