Currently have a fabrication drawing for a rubber gasket, Buna-N, 3/32" thick, 60A Durometer. Machine shop is fabricating the gasket. The edges of the gasket are not smooth and the thru holes for mounting fasteners are not clean (looks like a razor knife was used to cut).

What can be noted on the fabrication drawing? I think waterjetting and/or die cutting would improve the quality of the part, but I do not want to put "work instructions" on the drawing, just the requirement.

Any experience out there?
