RT REQUIREMENT FOR ASME SEC VIII DIV. 1 VESSEL

Hi Folk!

Lets kill some confusion about the RT requirement in accordance with ASME SEC VIII Div. 1.

Vessel Dia OD = 610 mm
Vessel thickness = 12 mm
Design Pressure = 0.35 Mpa
Design Temperature = 148 C
Shell Length = 2500 mm
Top cover = 24" Standard WNRF flange
bottom head = 2:1 Ellipsoidal head (Nom. T = 14mm , Min. 12mm)

Client specified on data sheet that shell / head RT shall be 100%

Radiographed able joints

As per Figure UW-3

A = Longitudinal Seam (Butt weld)(single bevel) => 100% consider by client requirement but what will be exemption and requirement as per code..?? (please refer to specific clause)
B = Circumference seam (Butt weld) (Single bevel) => 100% consider by client requirement but what will be exemption and requirement as per code..?? (please refer to specific clause)
C = Nozzle Neck to Flange (Butt Weld) => What will be exemption and requirement criteria as per code.. ??(please refer to specific clause)
D = Shell chamber to Nozzle neck welding => What will be exemption and requirement criteria as per code.. ??(please refer to specific clause)
