RSSQL: PLC rollover number work around?

I've been setting up Factory Talk Transaction Manager RSSQL configs for various clients.
I am putting a quantity count into our software and using the DIFF function.
The DIFF function requires a PLC rollover number. If it's your PLC and system, cool, but I'm working with folks that aren't necessarily PLC-knowledgable enough to provide this.

Has anyone seen a nice work-around to avoid having to specify a specific rollover number?
