rs232 interfaced thermometer 1

Hi,

I'm looking for a thermometer to measure food temperature, with a display of that measurement, and a rs232 interface to read the value of temperature.

This "probe" will be connected to an electronic card and this card need to read that probe at a specific instant (while the user of the probe presses a button on the probe for instance).

But, in fact, I'm looking for something very simple to use:
In the best case, what I'm looking for is a simple probe (to measure the food's temperature) with:
- an ON/OFF switch (or ON button with autoshutdown)
- a "Send the current value to the RS232" button,
- a simple display (3-4 digits).

So I would like to know if such a probe exists or not, and where I can buy it.

PS: I have done some websearches but I found either thermometers with simple display but without RS232 interface or thermometers with RS232 interface but with functions that are useless for me.

If all you're doing is displaying on the display, then RS-232 is irrelevant to your stated requirements. You've over-specified the functionality

The display is useful to determine the moment to press the "RS-232" button.
So the RS-232 function is useful because the electronic card needs to record the value of the temperature when the "RS-232" button is pressed. This value is then treated by the software of the card.
So these 2 functions are necessary for my application.

You can order a stadard temperature element RTD (PT-100 at 20 - 50$)
add ADAM-6015 (7-channel RTD Input Module) or
use thermocouple with ADAM-6018 and read the temperature from the
ADAM in your computer.

If the computer gets the data, why the pushbotton?
It could start the measurement.

Thanks for your links,

To be more precise, it should measure temperature between -10°C and + 90°C, with 0.1°C accuracy.
I need only 1 probe.

The pushbutton is here to indicate to the electronic card (and not a computer or PC) that the temperature has to be memorized via the serial interface by this card.

When this button is not pressed the temperature has no need to be sent to card via the serial interface.

I need also a ON/OFF button (or ON button with an autoshutdown), because it is a ponctual measurement of temperature and it is for power saving.
