When trying to copy the file from one assembly file to another assembly file, the file will copy but the features we created like twist stock is not showing in the copied part.

Working procedure:
1.We are creating a rectangular stock and then creating a twist with some angle.
2.Copying the file and pasting it another file or with in the file.
3.We can able to copy the file but the twist we made is not showing in the copied part.

Result:
When we copy the part automatically it needs to show the twist also when we paste in another assembly

Kindly provide answer to this question. We believe its a limitation in NX.

Kranthi When you made the initial part and put it into your (larger) assembly, did you make it as a rectangular bar and then create the twit after it was in the larger assembly? If so, the command to "create the twist" does not exist with the part itself, but rather the larger assembly. Thus when you try to copy the (now twisted) part, you're actually only copying the original rectangular bar.

By the way, this is the same kind of thing that can happen when patterning holes or other similar repetitive actions. The initial "part" has to contain all the details of the final shape, or it will not "pattern" correctly. And no - this type of thing is not exclusive to NX.
