I am searching for the causes of this type of corrosion. Does anybody know information that leads me to an answer?

Thanks in advance, Eric Voorneveld

You can get good information on this from arc_jmg@yahoo.com It involves a surface corrosion phenomenon on austenitic stainless steels - possibly ferritic and duplex grades too.

Correrction to the last posting. Correct address is corrosionlab.com/rouging.html
