hi

i decide to rotate a deformable circular shell part about it's central axis but my problem is after applying rotation , shell begin to deform axially! what should i do to constrain the this and make it rotate without any deformation?!

i'm going to use this for simulating rolling process.

kind regrad

For rolling the method is generally to model the roll as a rigid body and use solid elements (2D or 3D) for the material being deformed.

i knew that i could do it with rigid body, but i have another question on the table. in some rolling process, radius of Roller changes during the process and i want to simulate the new Radius that occurs after deformation of roller.
.
indeed i cant rotate a 2D deformable shell or 3D deformable body without expansion in the radial direction!

The image you included shows a flat disc. To create a uniform roll then you'd just extrude that disc along the axis. To create a non uniform roll then sketch the outline and sweep it around the axis for 360 degrees or whatever.
