Hi,

I am new user of Solid Edge V20. I have to make 2-D drawings for my electrical motor. I need to rotate rotor of the machine through some known angle around its center.
When I rotate some part of drawing, its previous location stays and a copy of drawing is pasted at new rotated angle, whereas, I need the part rotated at new position only and not at its initial position.
I will appreciate if somebody can post a quick answer.
Thanks

Hi,

if I unstand it correctly: you have drawn the rotor in 2D
(not a 3D derived view) and you're using the rotate function.
If that's the case switch off the copy mode of the rotate
function. It's the leftmost button in the ribbon bar that
is displayed after invoking the function
