Hi everyone:

I'm struggling with the design of a green roof made with cables (or a doubly curved cable net). Specifically with the analysis.
It's a complex structure using cables with double curvature similar to the Sydney's Aurora Place (see image)

Does anyone know a software or approximate method I can use to determine the design tension?

I had done a proposal about 45 years ago using a cable structure. There was a lot of analytical information at the time; it was trendy. Fellow that had been involved mostly was Frei Otto... Even US Cable had a design manual. You may start there for some background.

Yup... was USS...
Thanks, Dik
