I am having a problem with flat spots when trying to roll 1/8" die cut sheets of 6061 T6 Aluminum. The diameter is around 18 inches. I was going to try sandwiching it between something, but can't waste any material. Any ideas?

Thanks

The material is probably too hard to form in the T6 condition. Heat treated Al usually has to be formed in the annealed (O) condition and then heat-treated to desired strength. If a lot of forming is required, the material requires annealing between operations, because it work hardens
