/HI guys, im trying to create a robotic arm that can be controlled by human arm. I have seen and researched quite few concept. Now I am trying to recreate this concept from this video on youtube . Any of you guys have a background on creating this? tia :)

I haven't made any of these yet, but I'm thinking of making one on the summer holidays.
What you have there is a master/slave robot arm, you could probably make one easily using potentiometers for angle sensors and servos for actuators and an Arduino for control. If you're looking to make one on the cheap and have access to a laser cutter make a MeArm. I've made one of those and it's pretty cool, perhaps you can make two copies, turn one into a master for control with potentiometers.

thanks for replying desertdiver. :-) I am trying to recreate it using a PIC microcontroller. What kind of PIC should I use? and I am having trouble thinking about the power supply. Can you help me with that?
