I am working on the HVAC design for a new RO membrane building. Could anyone advise what's the typical indoor design criteria for the building? Does it require any strict temperature or humidity control? Or only some ventilation and anti-freezing heating(in north)? Thank you very much.

Definitely have to protect the membranes from freezing.
Max operating temperature for the membranes is around 104 deg F. Normally not an issue as long as the water continues to flow through the membranes but standby units could have problems.
Humidity control is likely a good deal but expect grief for the cost from your PM. Payback is longer life of componets potetially damaged by sweeting (big problem in winter).
