Rib from multiple curves?

Dear All,

Can I create a Rib in Catia in a single step using multiple curves each having its own sketch? Do I need to merge the curves? How?

I am trying to model a spring using a helix and additional planar curves on each end.

Well, since I cannot find a delete / remove thread button, I will just respond to the question myself ... issue solved - forgot to use the join function.
