Hello, I want to create a drawing from a part with some ribs. I have a section and I don't want to cut the ribs. Is this possible? Thanks

hello

Make cutting lines for plane with 90 deg to avoid ribs or right click on a drawing view and " set drawing view depth "

Hope something is usefull

Not automatically, and I don't think any CAD system will.
You can do it by removing the hatching from the view, adding a line by drawing in view and then manually hatching.
Other than that most people just live with it being not to standards.

Quadro FX4600.

Where would we be without sat-nav?

Actually, some of the newer versions of the standards do allow ribs to be sectioned as I understand it, presumably a concession to CAD.

Posting guidelines faq731-376 (probably not aimed specifically at you)
What is Engineering anyway: faq1088-1484
