While trying to import into Solidworks from Rhino I am getting a model that is scaled down by .0254 no matter what file type I use, or units I use.

The only way I have found to get around this is to import an iges file from Rhino into SW and then scale the model up by 25.4. This however isn't so easy if the model from Rhino doesn't have each item Unioned together.

Is there a better way, or an option I am missing to get this to work? So far iges files are the only ones that even show up within Solidworks as acis, 3dm, or x_t files don't come up at all due to solid/surface data or they load up as invisible.

Thanks in advance

Are you sure you're not using metric units in Rino.?

What are your units set for in your template part in Solidworks?

Set you template part units to metric and then open the 3dm file from Solidworks.

good luck...
