REX Extension Work

Is there anyone on this forum that has the REX Extension module or similar that can do a small job for me? I want to get two anatomy models (STL), smooth them, create surfaces, remove the point cloud and then save as a Pro-E native file without the point clouds.

post them here, i'll give it a shot. how smooth do you want them to be? getting smooth surfaces out of anatomy models isn't easy.

The files are too large to post on MCAD Central.


Work Scope: import two Vertebrae models L4 & L5 of the LUmbar Spine.


Take each file and map a surface to the model.


Remove the point cloud and just have a surface ( or solid) as long as the point cloud is gone the model file size will be smaller. The smoothing is just to make the faceted look of an STL and eroneaous bad scan points to be removed and make a cosmetically appealing anatomy model of Pro-E file type.
