Returning leadscrew-Same direction rotation

Hello all, I'm looking for a solution to lay cable on a drum at a fixed rate. The problem being that the motor on the leadscrew will always be in one direction. Is there a standard part (leadscrew) that has a full helical loop that a hub could follow?
My company have used them in the past but no-one can find the old supplier.

Basic dims would be Dia 10-15mm (3/8"-5/8"), 250mm (10") travel. Helix to be confirmed.

Might I note we're in the UK.

Look at the traverse mechanism on smaller textile winding machines, or even a bait-casting reel for fishing. These mechanisms are fairly simple, with a reverser riding in a double helical groove. One groove being right hand twist and the other being left, of course. This allows you to vary the pitch (travel per revolution) as well. If you have access to a good machine shop, these can be fabricated to your need.
