Hello,
As per ASME SEC.V Article 4 t-410 mentions "retention and control of calibration" blocks. What does it mean exactly and since it is specific requirement of related code section, how can you refer in ASME UT procedure ?
Thanks

All QA programs defien this, here is an example.

"Each piece of measuring and test equipment shall have a calibration record which will contain a description of the item; the model, size and range; and identification number, serial number, calibration frequency, the range and accuracy, the previous, current and next calibration date, and previous calibration results."

All NDE procedures require calibration.

Cal blocks need to be certified / documented and controlled.
