Hello fine folks,
Lets say I have a retaining wall with stone veneer on the front side (probably supported with either angles mounted the the wall or drystack CMU), how is the best way to do the slab on grade in front of it? The slab on grade will have veneer on top of it. Do you stop the slab on grade in front of the vertical stone veneer? Do you go below the stone veneer? Do you dowell rebar into the retaining wall? I am just worried the slab will have vertical movement and mess up the vertical stone veneer. Do I put expansion board between stone veneer and the slab? Maybe I am thinking about this too hard.
