Resource usage tab

I have tasks and 1 resource attributed to all tasks.
On the Resource usage tab if I change directly the number of hours for a project, the percentage of the resource is not updated automatically on the Gantt Chart.

Is it a normal behaviour?

I would be willing to bet that the Type is set to Fixed Units.
When set to Fixed Units, when you alter the Work, the Duration changes and your Units (percentage) stays the same.

Try setting your Type to Fixed Duration, then change the Work. I'll bet you will see the expected change in Units (percentage).
