I have a reservoir, 65'W x59'L x 11.5' D full of water, I want to ensure homogenization being that I will test pH at the outlet, and dose acid or base accordingly to maintain specific pH range.

Is floating mixers the best way to ensure homogenization in a basin this size, or should I be concentrating on a different technology that may have a lower capital cost?

If floating mixers is an acceptable mixing method, How should I calculate the number of floating mixers, motor power, diameter/type of impellers?

Thank you

What is the hhydraulic detention time and how quickly can you dose the acid or base?
