This is the first time I design for clean room, class 10,000. I could not find any design guideline, hopefully, some Clean room expert can help me out:
1. How many air change should I apply for this clean room class 10,000 ?
2. Can I use the return air (or partial return air) or have to be 100% outside air ?
3. If it is 100% outside air, can I use heat wheel to recoup some lost load ?
If there are some special requirement for this class, please guide me .
Thanks in advance

HT

1. Class 10,000 is similar to ISO-7 and norm ACH is 25-40. (lower end if there is no particulate source in the room) Technically the number should be as low as possible to keep your particle count less than 10,000 per cu ft for p[article sizes less than 0.5 um
2. You can use recirculation.
3. Typically you will use a glycol loop from the exhaust stream for enenrgy recovery.

ISPE has a Good Practice Guide on HVAC that will explain more in depth.
