Do any states require that the address (mailing or physical) of a firm be shown on the engineering drawings they develop?

Florida requires a physical address, along with the Certificate of Authorization number. I would guess that most states would have the same requirement.

Check with the administration section of the State's building code. Any state plan requirements should be listed there.

Frankly, I do not know why you would not do that.

Even if it is not required in your state, it is good free advertising for your firm. It's also stating that you are proud of the product and willing to put your name and reputation on it.

The IBC has a 'minimum" list of info that needs to be provided. Our local code enforcement requires the PE's address and phone number. They often call with questions or comments - some stupid - some good.

Thanks everyone. We have offices in multiple states and we're trying to standardize company logo(s) across all locations.
