I am performing QA on a PT elevated slab and looking at studs around the perimeter that have very little concrete coverage maybe 1/2". ACI use to state the coverage had to be the minimum of the largest rock size in the design mix which is 1" however I can not find that verbiage in ACI now, has it been removed? The drawings do not state the required coverage therefore I was researching the code for help. Does anyone know if code has a minimum coverage or is it the engineers call?
