Reprojecting Drawings

Please Help! I was sent a drawing in Stateplane, New York East, NAD 83 Feet and I need it to be in NAD 27 so it will match my other data. I have yet to find any information that makes any sense to me about reprojecting drawings or changing datums in AutoCAD Land Development Desktop R2. I could do it in ArcInfo but it would be time consuming and it would be very useful for me to know how to do it in this software. Please keep any response as simple as possible, as I'm not highly skilled in AutoCAD.
