Hi,
we are trying to take the replica of U duct made up of INCONEL material. What is the most appropriate etchant for INCONEL Alloys?
What are the possible phases and microsturcture and which damage mechanisms may occur to this alloy?
Please help.

Which alloy? Inconel is the tradename for a family of dozens of Ni based alloys.
