I am off the grid in Arizona. I would like to replace a 1/2 HP ac motor in an evaporative cooler with a 24v or 48v DC motor. Is there a cross reference table that could accomplish this, or a manufacturer that would provide this information?

Bosch has a wide range of motors. This one may be a bit too large, but they have much smaller ones. Which speed do you need? And, are you sure you need 1/2 HP? The existing motor may be running at less than full load.
